Before My Trip

Aim to Arrive Early

We suggest arriving a day or two early to give yourself extra time to recover from jet lag. This is totally optional but if you decide to arrive early, there are many ways to spend that extra time. Such as exploring cairo, day trips and over night excursions. If you decide to arrive early please let us know, so we can arrange airport pick up and accommodation.

Your Arrival Details

Once you have booked your tour and you have booked your flights to Cairo, send us a copy of your flight information. This will allow us to track your flight so we can arrive on time to pick you up.

Travel Insurance & Visa

We stongly reccomend getting travel insurance for the duration of your trip. It’s not very expensive and will give you and your family a peace of mind. Before you leave check any visa restrictions, check your passport expiration date (your passport should be valid up to 6 months prior of your return date). If you have any questions regarding travel insurance and visas then let us know and we will help you.

When I Arrive

 Your Airport Pick Up

No matter what time you arrive to Cairo International Airport, we will be there to pick you and help you through the visa process. So please send your flight details to us, once you book your flight.

What Time To Arrive On Day 1

When booking your flight to Cairo we reccomend arriving as early as you can. This will give you time to rest, freshen up and recover from that long flight. Depending on the airline you fly with, sometimes your flight may arrive later in the evening and that is okay. No need to stress to much over your arrival time.

Arriving 1 or 2 Days Early?

No problem! You can add extra nights of accommodation, just let us know once you decide. That way we can book you in the accommodation where we first start the trip to save you on any unnecessary moving around.

After My Trip

Departure and Getting To Airport

Transportation to the airport is included, so when sending us your flight details don’t forget to send us your departure details also. This will allow for us to arrange and accommodate transporation for you, so you can get to the airport within 3 hours of your departure time.

Looking to extend your travels?

We will be happy to help you with any onward travel you may have in mind. The group leaders will be sticking around a few days after the tour and can help you plan anything you might have in mind. Thinking about heading to the Sinai Peninsula to scuba dive or exploring more of the Middle East, we can help.

Extending Your Accomodation

Have you decided to extend your trip for a few days after the tour ends to explore a little more of Egypt? We can book extra nights accommodation for you so you don’t have to worry, just let us know before the tour so we can arrange it for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a way to connect and talk to others who have booked the same trip as me?

Yes, you definetly can! One thing we love about traveling is meeting new people. So that’s why we’ve created a Facebook Group for everyone to connect and talk to other group members who have already been on the tour or have signed up to go.

What’s included in my Classic Egypt Tour?

Take a look above in the ‘Trip details’ tab to get a detailed list of what is and is not included in the tour. To make it short all transporation, accommodation, entry tickets, domestic flights, and most of your meals are all included. The only thing you will need to arrange on your own is your international flight to and from Cairo, spending money and travel insurance.

What’s the accommodation like?

All of our accommodation is handpicked by us and our partners. We do this to ensure that when you are not out exploring you can relax in your amazing hotel room. On this tour you will be staying at 4 different hotels which includes a 5-star all inclusive resort on the Red Sea in Hurghada, 4-star hotel right next to the Giza Plateau overlooking the Great Pyramids Of Egypt, 4-star hotel overlooking the Nile in Luxor, and a 4-star hotel in Cairo.

Are flights to Cairo, Egypt included in the price?

International flights to and from Cairo are not included in the tour price. If you need help finding a flight ticket, let us know and we can help find a flight that fits your schedule. Don’t worry about airport pick up and drop off transporation as that is included in your tour price.

Which airport do I fly into?

When booking your flights to Cairo you should be landing at Cairo International Airport (CAI). Once you arrive to the airport we will have one of our drivers greet you and help you through the visa process and then drive you to your hotel in Giza.

Is it safe to travel to Egypt?

The answer is… yes! Egypt is a very safe country to visit as a male or a female. Of course traveling in a group is reccomended rather then going alone, as you will have a guide with you at all times to keep haglers from ripping you off or selling you tours at a high price. If you ever talk to anyone who has been to Egypt including ourselves, we’ll all say how friendly and hospitable the locals are. You will be saying the same thing by the ned of your tour.

Can I come alone?

Of course you can! Traveling by yourself can be the most rewarding of all travel. You will make new friends and make life long connections with like minded travelers. If you decide to come alone, you will have the option to share a room with another tour member or pay a single supplement to have your own private accomodation.

How much spending money do I need?

Considering almost everything you need is included in the price of the tour, you wont need much! We would suggest bringing at least $500 usd to be safe. Everyone’s spending habbits are different, some people travel on a tight budget while others are more generous about their spending. If you love to shop, buy souvenir’s, or explore the nighlife more than the average person, you might consider bringing more money. Also throughout the trip you will have multiple chances to participate in optional excursions, which are not inlcuded in the price of the tour. So make sure you take a look at the price for any of the excursions you may be interested in and take that into consideration when deciding on a budget.
