Before My Trip

Aim to Arrive Early

We suggest arriving a day early to give yourself extra time to recover from jet lag. This is totally optional but if you decide to arrive early, there are many ways to spend that extra time. Such as exploring Dublin or surrounding areas, day trips and over night excursions. If you decide to arrive early please let us know, so we can arrange airport pick up and accommodation.

Your Arrival Details

Once you have booked your tour and you have booked your flights to Dublin, send us a copy of your flight information. This will allow us to track your flight so we can arrive on time to pick you up.

Travel Insurance & Visa

We stongly reccomend getting travel insurance for the duration of your trip. It’s not very expensive and will give you and your family a peace of mind. Before you leave check any visa restrictions, check your passport expiration date (your passport should be valid up to 6 months prior of your return date). If you have any questions regarding travel insurance and visas then let us know and we will help you.

When I Arrive

Hit The Ground Running

We know jetlag is REAL and one way to kick it in the butt is to literally hit the ground running. Don’t worry we’ll give you a few hours after checking into your room to get some rest and freshen up before we kick off the tour with a group get together in the hotel lobby.

Your Airport Pick Up

No matter what time you arrive to Dublin Airport, we will be there to pick you up and bring you to your Hotel.  So please send your flight details to us, once you book your flight.

What Time To Arrive On Day 1

When booking your flight to Dublin we reccomend arriving as early as you can. This will give you time to rest, freshen up and recover from that long flight. Most flights from America to Dublin arrive early in the morning.

Arriving 1 or 2 Days Early?

No problem! You can add extra nights of accommodation, just let us know once you decide. That way we can book you in the accommodation where we first start the trip to save you on any unnecessary moving around.

After My Trip

Departure and Getting To Airport

Transportation to the airport is included, so when sending us your flight details don’t forget to send us your departure details also. This will allow for us to arrange and accommodate transporation for you, so you can get to the airport within 3 hours of your departure time.

U.S. Preclearance

Did you know Dublin Airport is one of only a few airports outside North America that offers a US Preclearance facility. The benefit is that having cleared USCBP, passengers arriving in the US are treated as domestic arrivals, allowing them to avoid immigration queues upon arrival and pick up their bags and go.

In addition, this benefits onward connecting passengers in the US who will have their baggage checked through to their final destination.

Looking to extend your travels?

We will be happy to help you with any onward travel you may have in mind. The group leaders will be sticking around a few days after the tour and can help you plan anything you might have in mind. Thinking about heading to Northern Ireland or England for a few days to explore more of Europe? Let us know and we can help with booking accommodation and give you tips on places to visit.

Extending Your Accomodation

Have you decided to extend your trip for a few days after the tour ends to explore a little more of Ireland? We can book extra nights accommodation for you so you don’t have to worry, just let us know before the tour so we can arrange it for you.
